Passenger Statistics - April 2008
- Edmonton International Airport (EIA) served 518,091 passengers in April 2008, an increase of 5.2 per cent over April 2007.
- EIA has served 2,075,507 passengers year-to-date (YTD), an increase of 7.8 per cent over the same period in 2007.
- With 595,047 passengers (enplaned and deplaned), August 2007 was the busiest month ever at Edmonton International Airport.
- EIA is the fastest growing major airport in Canada in terms of passenger growth rate over the past two years.
- A record-breaking 6.1 million passengers flew to and from EIA in 2007, an increase of 16.3 per cent over 2006.
- In 2007, International passenger traffic was up an incredible 85 per cent over 2006.
