When visiting Edmonton International Airport, please note the following facilities and services available to members of the news media:
Emergency Media Centre
In the event of an emergency at Edmonton International Airport, media will have access to the Media Centre located on the Northwest corner of the Multi-Purpose Room in Central Hall.
On-location media should report to the Media Centre for the most up to date information on the situation, to obtain interviews, and to arrange any passes and escorts required to cover the story. Any media pools that may be required will also be organized here.

In the event of an emergency, Edmonton Airports strongly encourages media to continue to check our website for updates. In an emergency, additional staff is dedicated to ensure that the website is updated with the most current information.
Commercial Filming
Individuals wishing to use Edmonton International Airport for on-location filming of feature films, documentaries, TV series, commercials, still photographs, and general entertainment programs must first apply for permission by contacting Corporate Communications.
Parking
Media travelling to the airport must park in either the Parkade or the Value Park Lot. Corporate Communications will provide media personnel with complimentary parking vouchers.
For parking access to accommodate live broadcasts, arrangements need to be made in advance with Corporate Communications.
Please note that media who choose to park somewhere other than noted here, or other than where permission is granted by Corporate Communications, may be ticketed, and/or towed.
Edmonton City Centre Airport, Cooking Lake Airport, and Villeneuve Airport
Edmonton Airports manages three other airports in addition to Edmonton International: Edmonton City Centre, Cooking Lake and Villeneuve. No media relations personnel are located on site at these airports. If you wish to obtain access or information, please contact Corporate Communications in advance of your visit.
In the event of an emergency at Edmonton City Centre Airport, a media facility may be established in the lunchroom at Building #3, 10908 - 120 Avenue.
