EDMONTON -- Jim Meyer, Vice-President Marketing and Communications of Edmonton Airports, today announced the appointment of Kelly Gordon to the position of Manager, Corporate Communications for Edmonton Airports. Mr. Gordon will assume the position on July 19, 1999.

Mr. Gordon currently serves as a Public Information Officer for the Edmonton Police Service, a position he has held since 1990. Prior to his career with the Edmonton Police Service, Kelly has worked as a radio, television and print journalist in Alberta and British Columbia.

"We are pleased to have Kelly join our team", said Meyer, "his wide range of experience and skills will make him a great asset to Edmonton Airports."

Mr. Gordon has a great deal of professional training in communications and is active in the local community volunteering for various organizations.
