Calgary -- WestJet today celebrated the commencement of its new Toronto service, offering daily non-stop flights from Toronto to Calgary and Toronto to Edmonton. WestJet will operate its flights from Terminal 3 at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport. One-way fares between Toronto and Calgary start as low as $205, and one-way fares between Toronto and Edmonton start as low as $222.

Clive Beddoe, WestJet President and CEO, said today: “We are very pleased to be adding our 22nd WestJet destination today, operating new non-stop service between Toronto and Calgary, and Toronto and Edmonton.

The recent addition of two leased aircraft has allowed us to expand our services, and bring competition to a market that has been dominated by one major carrier domestically.

WestJet continues to operate 10 non-stop destinations out of its Hamilton hub.
